Introduction
Special Source Ltd is a watersports company offering exciting prizes through our trading name "Aquaplanet Competitions".
1. How to Enter
1.1 To participate in a competition on the Special Source Ltd website, entrants must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.2 Select a competition from those available on the website and correctly answer the multiple-choice question to validate your ticket(s).
1.3 Alternatively, to enter by post, send a handwritten postcard with postage to Aquaplanet Competitions, Brewery, Toll Bridge Rd, Bath BA1 7DE. Include details such as the competition name, correct answer, full name, date of birth, address, email, and contact number. Each postcard must confirm acceptance of these terms and conditions.
1.4 Postcards sent via special delivery that require a signature will not be accepted.
1.5 Postal entries are limited to one free entry per competition per person per postcard.
1.6 Special Source Ltd reserves the right to reject postal entries received after a competition's closing date.
1.7 All draws will randomly select a ticket using a verified random number generator algorithm.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
2.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. Special Source Ltd may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
2.3 Special Source Ltd will not accept competition entries that are:
2.3.1 Automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);
2.3.2 Completed by third parties or in bulk;
2.3.3 Illegible, altered, reconstructed, forged, or tampered with;
2.3.4 Photocopies and not originals; or
2.3.5 Incomplete.
2.4 Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
3. The Prizes
3.1 Prizes will be detailed on the Special Source Ltd website, including draw dates which will be set when a competition sells out unless otherwise stated. Special Source Ltd guarantees that competitions will not be extended and the full prize will be awarded.
3.2 Draw dates will be published on the website and social media platforms.
3.3 There is no cash alternative for prizes.
3.4 To claim the prize, winners must contact competitions@aquaplanetsports.com with their details, ticket number, and proof of valid photo ID.
3.5 Special Source Ltd will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged, or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including postal or technical failures.
4. Winners
4.1 The decision of the judges appointed by Special Source Ltd is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
4.2 Special Source Ltd will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry.
4.3 Special Source Ltd must publish or make available information indicating that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, Special Source Ltd will publish the surname, county, and winning entry of prize winners on www.aquaplanetsports.com on the Announcement Date as provided on the website or social platforms.
4.4 There will be a live draw on the website and social platforms for every competition.
5. Claiming the Prize
5.1 Please refer to the details of how to claim in condition 4. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
5.2 Special Source Ltd will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 28 days of the Announcement Date, Special Source Ltd reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries received before the Closing Date.
5.3 Special Source Ltd does not accept any responsibility if you are unable to claim the prize in accordance with these conditions.
6. Ownership of Competition Entries and Intellectual Property Rights
6.1 All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to Special Source Ltd will become the property of Special Source Ltd upon receipt and will not be returned.
6.2 By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
6.2.1 Assign absolutely to Special Source Ltd all your intellectual property rights held in the competition entry with full title guarantee; and
6.2.2 Waive absolutely all moral rights in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
7. Data Protection and Publicity
7.1 Special Source Ltd will only process your personal information as set out in the privacy policy available on www.aquaplanetsports.com. Refer also to condition 4.2 and 7.2 regarding the announcement of winners.
7.2 If an entrant shares information about their win with local press or other media, the entrant must inform Special Source Ltd at competitions@aquaplanetsports.com so that all materials to be shared can be approved.
8. General
8.1 If Special Source Ltd has reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, it may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
8.2 Special Source Ltd reserves the right to void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
8.3 These terms and conditions are governed by English law. Entrants to this promotion wishing to take court proceedings must do so within the courts of the United Kingdom.
