Warranty Periods

Warranty periods vary depending on the product SKU purchased. You can see these listed below. For our latest Aquaplanet Paddleboard ranges, we provide a 3 year limited warranty on all brand new paddleboard purchases. For all other paddleboards and accessories, a 1 year manufacturers warranty applies. Our warranty periods are measured from the date of receipt of the goods purchased.

3 year limited warranty

Aquaplanet Max 10’6 (SS003-PR / SS003-GL / SS003-SU)
Aquaplanet Max Plus 11’8 (SS003-XL-HO / SS003-XL-BE)
Aquaplanet Pace 10’6 (SS002-LA / SS002-CO)
Aquaplanet Pace Plus 11’8 (SS002-XL-NO / SS002-XL-EM)
Aquaplanet Allround Ten 10’ (SS001-KI / SS001-CY / SS001-AZ / SS001-SP)

 This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal personal use, including:

Faulty seams or seam separation
Defective air valves
Delamination
Structural defects from production

1 year manufacturer’s warranty

Applicable products
 - all other product SKUs, including accessories

General Terms & Conditions

Aquaplanet’s responsibility shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. Aquaplanet will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of use of the product. This warranty is subject to the following limitations in addition to any imposed by virtue of applicable law.

Aquaplanet’s warranty covers only items that are purchased directly from the manufacturer or authorised Aquaplanet resellers.  If you have not purchased directly from Aquaplanet, any warranty claims must be supported by the original purchase receipt, clearly identifying the Authorised seller.

Warranties cannot be transferred, by way of gift or otherwise. 

The warranty is void if any modification or alteration has been made to the product without authorisation from Aquaplanet in writing.

If a repair or replacement has taken place, the Warranty only applies for the remainder of the period from the original receipt date.

Aquaplanet will cover the cost of warranty returns by issuing a prepaid drop off label for purchases that have been placed within 12 months. After this time, the customer will be responsible for any return postage and a tracked service must be used. Shipping charges are non-refundable. The original packaging, or suitable replacement packaging provided by the customer must be used for the secure return of the product.

What does the warranty not cover?

General wear and tear.
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect or user error.
Damage caused by use exceeding the maximum user weight
Damage caused by insufficient packing during transportation of the product
Damage caused by use of solvents and adhesives
Damage caused by anything other than defects in material or workmanship, this includes improper customer repairs or alterations.
Damage or defects caused by impact with any materials or objects (rocks, docks, other boards, etc).
Damage or defects caused by use outside of its intended purpose.
Damage or defects caused by heel dents also known as pressure dings.
Damage or defects caused by inappropriate storage in temperatures over 32°C and under 0°C. Damage or delamination caused by over-heating as a result of exposure to direct sunlight while not in use.
Damage or defects caused by wave impact and/or impact with ocean/lake floor.
Damage or defects caused by storage of the board in closed, damp conditions (example a wet board bag).
Damage to fin or fin box caused by impact.

Warranty claim process

To submit a claim, please email our customer support team at support@aquaplanetsports.com with the following details:

 - Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
 - Product details (model and serial number if available)
 - Description of the issue Photographic or video evidence of the defect

Claims must be submitted within the warranty period. Upon approval, Aquaplanet will repair or replace the affected product (or part) at its discretion. If an identical replacement is not available, a comparable alternative will be offered.

Shipping costs associated with warranty claims may be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required under UK consumer law.

 > Up to 60 days: During the first 60 days of warranty a refund or new replacement may be offered.
> 60 days to 6 months: Between 60 days and 6 months from receipt of your product a new replacement may be offered.
> 6 months onwards: From 6 months, where appropriate, a like-for-like refurbished replacement may be offered.

In some cases, where suitable, replacement parts may be arranged without the need for a return. This is Aquaplanet’s preferred method in line with our sustainability outlook.

This warranty is in addition to and does not affect your legal rights under laws. We reserve the right to refuse a return or warranty claim where there is evidence of fraud, misuse, or deception. We reserve the right to inspect returned items and to refuse a refund or exchange if the item shows signs of misuse, excessive wear, or damage not consistent with a manufacturing fault.
